Acquired Gazelle

Description

For a future ebook, this Gazelle was "acquired" during a mission in the former nation of Somalia in support of 5th Kommando operations. After liberating the former occupants this vehicle was seen around the Free City of Mogadishu. The only thing added were duffel bags carried by the team and served as a means of transport. The Gazelle in the Free City is considered (as well as any anti-grav vehicle) a symbol of status and power, and anybody who generally controls such vehicles are generally left alone, regardless of their former occupants.

On a note, I hope the rusted appearance came through...

I love it, it's bloody beautiful mate!
I gotta say, when I think about contragravity and what it could achieve, and what the vehicles employing it would look like, I gotta say I don't think they'd look anything like cars at all! Personally when I envision a low altitude flying machine for domestic and military use I would be thinking to put the driver/pilot at the very front, with a good clear view of the ground - that would mean the conventional engine placement of automobiles would just get in the way. Furthermore, while the placement of any weapons or turrets on the front of the vehicle would be fine so long as you didn't venture more than a couple of meters off the ground, I think it would also you with a terrible blind spot as you get higher. In fact I think the propulsion would be better placed on top of the vehicle instead, and that a mounting on the underside would be better suited for weapons to engage ground targets!
AH BUT HERE IS THE RUB
At this point I've described something that looks nothing like what you have created! What you've gone and done here is create something gorgeous, something familiar that I can relate to - it's a jeep, and it flies! It's something that when I look at I can not only imagine a militia riding into battle on one of these, I can also imagine that it probably doesn't fly so high above the ground that it's layout would be too much of a problem xD
Although on your note, I have to say while it looks kind of old and dirty (and on another note I like the camouflage) I fear to say it doesn't look quite rusty to me! Still brilliant stuff though!
