Boar

The Boar ultra-heavy tank is an advanced tank that is sold by Walker Heavy Industries. Only a few mercenary units and Independent Planets utilize this as their primary assault vehicle. The 2-man vehicle has a remote turret with a 200mm railgun, a coaxial 30mm cannon, and a 10mm caseless machinegun. The back deck supports an 8-cell Striker Long Range Missile system in the back. Vertically launched these missiles can perform artillery, and anti-tank roles on the battlefield, and can range from a minimum range of 500 meters to a maximum range of twenty kilometers. It is thickly armored and has a maximum speed of 46 km/h. Despite an anachronism on a modern battlefield where anti-gravity tanks roam, it still can hold it's own when needed.

This particular Boar is seen with the Black Paw mercenary Battalion. Though employed in limited numbers, the vehicle serves as a support role for lighter tanks that the unit employs. This particular vehicle is standard with the excaption of only the tank number and the unit insignia and was seen in action on the planet of Kobatu in early 2740.
