HB23 Cav Configuration, after December 2740

This particular HB23 came into service with A Troop when it was determined that the Relikor PDW was not as capable as they had assumed.  While the weapons were purchased for one mission, during their contract on Al-Shay demonstrated that the Relikor wasn't worth the cost of keeping them in their inventory.  And for some missions the unit had to borrow weapons from The Phoenix Group, ruffling a few feathers but otherwise they were allowed to use them sparingly.  After selling them on the black market the unit purchased 40 HB23s in the configuration above, to include the paint.  While the CO of the Troop allowed painting this was the only type to be factory painted in the same pattern as their uniforms.  The weapon mounts a suppressor, backup iron sights, a Trijicon TA789 4x scope with a top-mounted reflex sight, as well as a SureFire light and vertical grip as shipped to the unit.
